Unlike human cakes made of sponge and are generally light and secured with a dab of cream on the base of the board, we are unable to do the same with meat bases. Hence, we highly recommend self pick-up for all cakes from our store at 86 Jalan Senang S418456 on the day or a day before the celebration.
This is also because our customised cake delivery rates are a lot costlier compared to bakeries and pet bakeries in the market. In this listing, we will explain why:
Couriers & Damages
Many customers and pet bakeries often choose to have deliveries handled by couriers such as GrabExpress or Lalamove because the cost is lower at a glance. Their services range between $20-$40 depending on the location and vehicle type chosen. This has however resulted in badly damaged cakes upon arrival especially for customised cakes - you may view sample images in the gallery.
Our delivery rates ranges between $48-$98 depending on the location and additional charges depending on public holidays and peak hours. This delivery rate includes consumer protection which means you can opt for this delivery with confidence as we will guarantee that your cake will be delivered whole and safe. Under any unfortunate circumstances where damages are incurred during delivery with us, you will be compensated.
Liabilities
We will not be held liable for any damages once the cake has left the premises when cakes are self-collected or collected by a courier. If you require retouching of the damaged cake, extra costs will be incurred based on the amount of work required to reinstate the design to it's original form. This is also subjected to the availability of our cake artist(s).
Cake Collection Tips
1) If you are driving
We suggest you come with a friend to pick up the cake so they are able to assist you in holding the cake. A tip we can offer would be to place the box on the floor of the car to minimise movement of the cake, reducing the risk of the cake sliding about.
2) If you are taking public transport
The nearest MRT located to our store is Kembangan MRT Station. You can take bus 42 from the bus stop near the station or walk by foot for 6-8 minutes via the park connector to get to us.
3) If you would like to proceed with third-party services:
We will share a photo of the cake once it has been placed in the box prior to collection. Customised cakes will be placed in an open-box layout with cling wrap for hygiene purposes and also to show the original state before handover. We highly recommend you inform the courier to drive with utmost care to prevent incurring any damages to the cake.
